YOUR BEST PIECE OF CREATIVE WORK BEFORE COMING TO THIS COURSE, THINK LATERALLY IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE "CONVENTIONAL" ART OR DESIGN WORK:

This wasn't exactly a creative work and neither is it my best, but it was a DIY kit that I recently did.  The camera is entirely plastic bar the 2 lenses and mirror.  It uses 35mm film.  I'm yet to test it out but its a fun little "creation".

AN IMAGE OF A GREAT PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE:

The Bradbury Building has featured in many films including one I had to study for HSC and another that is one of my favourite films.  The detailing is what I love about this building and the glass ceiling allows for plenty of light to highlight the iron grillwork. and terracotta details.

AN ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL:

This photo was taken in Taiwan near a small mountain village.  This was one of the first times I tried experimenting with my camera and I was aiming for the blurred effect of the water.  I managed to achieve that but wasn't able to get rid of the water droplets that kept hitting the lens.  Its impossible to stay dry when its raining in Taiwan.
